THY WILL BE DONE Completes Work On New Album
February 7, 2009Rhode Island's THY WILL BE DONE has completed recording the band's new album, entitled "In Ancient Of Days", for a spring release via Stillborn Records. Just like its predecessor, 2007's "Was And Is To Come", the new CD was produced, engineered, and mixed by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, WHITECHAPEL, SHADOWS FALL) at Planet Z studios in Hadley, Massachusetts, with Jamey Jasta of HATEBREED and KINGDOM OF SORROW acting as executive producer.
Commented the band: "Collectively we feel that we've just written music that we'd like to hear ourselves and we think some others will dig it; we were just eager to add fresh material and ideas to our repertoire. One thing we hope is (that) no matter where the listener is; wherever they are on their path of life — (that) there's going to be so many layers to the lyrics and music for everyone to gain something from. When making music, that's the main purpose. We're hoping that people will turn on that music and get inspiration."
THY WILL BE DONE's debut CD, "Was And Is To Come", was released in the United States in October 2007 through Jamey Jasta's Stillborn Records, and in Japan March 2008 through Toys Factory Records.
Completed in early 2007, "Was and Is to Come" features a guest vocal appearance by Jesse David Leach of SEEMLESS. The album was produced, engineered and mixed by Zeuss (HATEBREED, BEHEMOTH, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD) with Jamey Jasta as executive producer.
